About Senia

Painter, art-enthusiast, and introverted wallflower​​

I was born in Fresno, CA as a first-generation American to Nicaraguan immigrants. My speech was delayed until I was 5 years old. It was difficult to communicate with my teachers, peers, and even my own family.

Drawing and painting have been consistently my favorite passions throughout my life. I love the way images emerge, the different techniques to create textures. My special interests range from animals to pop culture to Autistic icons like David Byrne.

I discovered I was autistic during quarantine in 2020. A lot of my lifelong behaviors (walking around in circles, constantly listening to my headphones, not socially comfortable) finally made sense to why I’ve felt so different in my life. I’ve since leaned into my autism to express how I feel and think.
